History
The Certified Professional Retirement Coach Designation was established in 2004 by the Inspired Business Institute and was acquired by Robert Laura and the Retirement Project LLC in 2016. Since the acquisition, the program went through an extensive upgrade including the additional of a new learning management system used by over 7,000 universities and other organizations.
Additionally, the course book was revamped in 2017 with the helping of industry experts, Dorian Mintzer PhD and Gillian Leithman PhD to include the latest topics, social science, and research.
Today, the CPRC designation is an industry leader focused on helping clients plan for a comprehensive retirement that includes the five key areas of retirement:
